ANDERSON, Eugene
ANDERSON, Eugene. (Dubuque, IA, Oct. 18,1857--Unknown). Anderson completed his education in the public schools of Dubuque and then traveled to Golden, Colorado where he entered the State School of Mines. He spent two years in the Civil Engineering Department. After leaving college, he was employed in the west as a civil engineer for twelve years.
In 1890, he returned to Dubuque and established a large business as a surveyor and civil engineer.
Anderson was remembered for his efforts in establishing Dubuque's first water works and city parks.
The 1913 Dubuque City Directory through the 1916-1917 White's Dubuque County Directory listed 361 Julien as the address.
