ALBERT BITTER. In 1901 BITTER BROS. went out of business. Joseph and Albert established a new business in the BANK AND INSURANCE BUILDING. Apparently this business fell apart.
The 1909 and 1911-12 Dubuque City Directory gave 8th and Julien as the address of this business.
The 1913 Dubuque and Dubuque County Directory through the 1918 Dubuque and East Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 7 W. 8th. In the latter year, the laundry service was first advertised.
The 1922 Dubuque Telephone Directory listed 581 W. 8th.
