EKLUND, George. (Long Island, NY, 1953- ). Poet. In 1982 Eklund published his third book, Gone West of Sunrise Highway, preceded by First Sunrise and Infant Dawn. After graduating from the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE in the 1970s, Eklund taught at Northeast Iowa Technical Institute in Peosta and worked at HILLCREST FAMILY SERVICES.
