JAMES CUSHING HOME. Located at 175 West 17th, the house owned by James CUSHING was a mixture of QUEEN ANNE ARCHITECTURE with Italianate. This home and the one on the bluff behind it were once connected by a catwalk. The bluff-side home belonged to I. J. Cushing, a son, who was in business with his father.
