CONNOLLY, Maurice. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 3, 1877-Indianhead, MD, May 28,1921). Iowa Representative. Elected as a Democrat to the 63rd Congress, Connolly served from March 4, 1913, until March 3, 1915. He ran unsuccessfully for the United States Senate in 1914 while serving as chairperson of the Iowa State Democratic convention. Connolly was selected as a delegate to the national convention of the Democratic Party at St. Louis in 1916.
