KUEFLER, Joseph. (Dubuque, IA- ). Teacher. In 1971 Kuefler, long-time golf coach for the City Recreation Department and the DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT was honored with an Outstanding Service Award from the Northeast Independent School District of San Antonio, Texas. Kuefler was recognized for coaching DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL golfers to seven state championships during his career.
After briefly leaving the city, he returned to coach such outstanding golfers as Sharon FLADOOS.
