PETREK, Jane . ( -- ). Superintendent. Petrek came to the DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT as the Assistant Superintendent under Superintendent Joel MORRIS. Petrek earned her B.A. in 1972 from the University of St. Francis, M.Ed. (1975) from Northern Illinois University, and the Ed.D (1990) from Vanderbilt University. She served as the superintendent for two years.
In 2008 Petrek was the Department Chair of Educational Leadership at Lewis University southwest of Chicago.
