LAWTHER & STURGEON. The 1870-1871 and 1873-74 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business could be found at 13 Main. The mercantile business was formed by the uncle of William LAWTHER, Sr.
By 1875-1876 through 1878-79 the business was located at 145 Main Street.
