MCDONALD, J. Bruce (Dubuque, IA, Oct. 3, 1928--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 24, 1989). The son of Mr. and Mrs. Delos MCDONALD, J. Bruce was a former president of the Dubuque Traffic Association and Shot Tower Sports, Inc; chairman of the Visitation Advisory Board; board member and past president of the DUBUQUE BOYS' CLUB, board member of AMERICAN TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK and JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF THE TRI-STATES, INC., and a member of the Mercy Health Center Development and CLARKE COLLEGE advisory boards. McDonald was also a member of the board of directors and a past chairman of the membership committee of the DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, JULIEN DUBUQUE YACHT CLUB, DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY, DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, and the board of the United Way.
