BRANDON, Art. (Dubuque--Dubuque). One of the Dubuque youngsters who practiced acrobatic stunts in the sawdust pile of Day's Mill, Brandon was good enough to perform in a major circus. (1) He toured the nation for years with William BRODE in the Nickel Plate Circus.

After the death of Brode, Brandon was employed with the BARNUM AND BAILEY CIRCUS when he suffered a broken spine while performing in Paris. (2)
