BECKER, William L. Jr. (Dubuque, Ia, April 30, 1921--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 15, 2003). A local businessman in Dubuque, Becker spent most of his life as a stonemason in partnership with his brothers. Among the results of their craft were WARTBURG SEMINARY, DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, NEW MELLERAY ABBEY, WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, KENNEDY MALL and many local banks.
