HONG KONG TEA COMPANY. Opened in January 1895, the company reportedly (although articles were run in the Dubuque Daily Herald) chose to use one year's advertising into one month of "souvenir diamonds, rubies, sapphires and other articles of lesser value" which would be included in "caddies" of tea sold for $1.00. Not every caddies, however, had a prize. A long list of winners was listed and the store was located at 630 Main Street. (1)

The departure of the company was announced on March 1, 1895. (2)
