STAGE II
STAGE II. Opened as a teenage nightclub on August 17, 1999, the establishment was the successor at the same address of WALLY GATOR'S TEEN CLUB at 2095 Kerper Blvd. The same management believed they had learned from their mistakes. There would be no hand stamping which had allowed patrons to leave the premises, drink alcohol in their cars, and then return intoxicated. Dress codes similar to those at school would be enforced. An off-duty police officer would be stationed at the door. Security personnel would be better screened and better dressed. The club would also be open fewer nights and parents would be invited to get involve. (1)
Like its predecessor, the business ended up with a reputation for arguments and fights and closed around 1990. (2)
