CURTIS, Roy. (Dubuque, IA, Aug. 19, 1891--Dubuque, IA, May 3, 1940). Co-founder, Curtis-Straub Company. Elected to the Dubuque County Board of Supervisors, Curtis served from January 1, 1922, to Decembe 31m 1924. He chaired the Board in 1923-1924. Before and after WORLD WAR I, he was a semi-pro BASEBALL player in Dubuque.
