FRICKE, Alois. (Switzerland, 1818--Unknown). Fricke emigrated to America in 1845 and came to Galena the same year. He moved to Dubuque in 1846 and began working as stonemason.

He and his partner built the LORIMIER HOUSE, ST. JOSEPH'S ACADEMY and many other buildings in Dubuque.
