TOMTER, Floyd M. (Pigeon Falls, WI, Mar. 20, 1921--Dubuque, IA, May 24, 2015) The son of Ole and Hilda (Skoyen) Tomter, Floyd served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps during WORLD WAR II. On May 12, 1945, he married Doris T. Monson in Osseo, WI.

Floyd was employed as plant manager for Janlin Plastics Company and later was employed as a mechanic and lane man at FISCHER BOWLING. Floyd was a member of the 700 Bowling Club, and was inducted into the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame in 2005.
