JUNGK, Carl J. (Dubuque, IA, Aug. 26, 1877--Dubuque, IA, Nov. 6, 1974). Veteran. Jungk, Dubuque's last surviving veteran of the Spanish-American War, owned and operated Jungk Bakery. Later he served as a government meat inspector at the DUBUQUE PACKING COMPANY.
Jungk was a commander of the Spanish-American War Veterans and a counselor of the United Commercial Travelers.
