FREIBURGER, Nicholas (Rickardsville, IA, Apr. 30, 1885-Dubuque, IA, June 20, 1989). Sageville MAYOR. Freiburger was a moving force behind the incorporation of Sageville and served as its first mayor. In 1924 Freiburger started Hilldale Dairy, now a part of Swiss Valley Farms, and was chosen Father of the Year in 1984 by Holy Ghost Church in which he was the oldest member.
