WALKER, F.T. (Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, Aug. 1, 1841-- ). Attorney in the firm of Walker & Rhomberg on the corner of 5th and Main. law, loan, real estate and collecting, Walker came to Iowa and settled in Dubuque April 15, 1864. He entered the law office of Griffith & Knight where he read law; completed his law studies and was admitted to the bar in 1867.

In August, 1875, former his legal partnership and engaged in the law, loan, real estate and collecting business, operating mostly in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. In five years around 1911 they loaned over $1,000,000. Histories of their day claimed the partners owned the only complete set of abstract books in Dubuque County.
