MARTIN LUTHER HOME FOR THE AGED. On February 13, 1950 the National Lutheran Council churches of Dubuque began a one-week drive to raise $50,000 to establish a Martin Luther Home for the Aged in Dubuque. Canvassers would attempt to reach the more than 1,900 members. represented by the council. Participating congregations included HOLY TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, ST. MARK'S, ST. MATTHEW LUTHERAN CHURCH, and ST. PETER'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH. (1)
