MAJESTIC SYNCOPATERS. During the age of silent movies, Earl Wood's Majestic Syncopaters provided tempo from the orchestra pit for action on the screen. The group also provided music for dances throughout the region and performed on the stage of the MAJESTIC THEATRE.
In 1926 the musicians included Roscoe Bogart, saxophone; Earl Wood, violin; Bill Beck, trumpet; Bill Kucheman, saxophone; Ray Grimm, drums; Harold La Barge, banjo; Carl Schmitt, bass; Joe Malone, piano; and Mark Woodenton, trombone.
