ADAMS, Herbert. (Dubuque, IA, May 28, 1863--Dubuque, IA, Sept. 3, 1945) A son of Austin ADAMS and Mary Newberry ADAMS and the brother of Eugene ADAMS, Herbert served many years as the secretary and treasurer of ADAMS COMPANY (Encyclopedia Dubuque).
