HAMMEL AND WIENER. W. N. Redd, a well-known mill wright, received the contract in 1878 to convert the PEASLEE ALE BREWERY on White near 4th Street into a flour mill. The work was expected to be finished in August. In operation, the plant would be operated by steam and furnished with who run of burrs.
