HUBER, Henry. (Hess-Darmstadt, Germany, Sept. 27, 1824-- ). Director in the DUBUQUE FURNITURE AND BURIAL-CASE COMPANY at the corner of Eighteenth and Washington STREETS. Huber learned his trade in Germany. He emigrated to America in 1851 and lived in New York and New Jersey three years before coming to Dubuque in 1854.

Huber began working in the furniture business. He and a Mr. Kley built the factory occupied by the company and served as a director of the Dubuque Furniture and Burial-Case Co. since its organization.
