GROTE, Bart B. (Little Rock, IA-Dubuque, IA, June 18, 1984). Retired president, DUBUQUE CASKET COMPANY. Grote was the son-in-law of Frank J. Beiler, son of company founder Frank A. BEILER. From 1955 to 1956 Grote served as president of the Casket Manufacturers' Association of America.
Grote began working for Dubuque Casket in 1936. He was president of Elgin Associates and a member of the board of the DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB. Grote held membership in the Rotary for forty-eight years and belonged to the DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY.
