WEBER PAPER COMPANY. More Than Just Paper." Weber Paper was formed in 1951 by Albert V. Weber, James L. Weber, and Fred W. Aschenbrenner. First located at 136 Main Street, the company moved into the former location of the Key City Candy Company in 1960.

In 1989 James J. Weber purchased controlling interest from his aunt Anna Mae Weber Aschenbrener Genszler. The company in 1991served an estimated 5,000 customers within seventy-five miles of Dubuque and remained a family-owned wholesale operation.
