LAUBE, Paul J. (Dubuque, IA, 1910- ). Physician. Laube, an alumnus of the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE, served many years in China as a medical missionary until driven out by the Japanese prior to WORLD WAR II. He returned to Dubuque after World War II and practiced medicine until 1987.

Laube served as president of the DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, chairman of the University of Dubuque board of directors, and as a member of the board of directors of the DUBUQUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.
