JOHN WELKER. The 1867 Dubuque City Directory gave no address for this business although it was listed as a shoe/boot manufacturer.
The 1868-69 Dubuque City Directory listed the east side of Clay between 8th and 9th.
The 1874-1875 through 1884-1885 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 854 Clay.
The 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory listed the corner of 10th and Clay.
