Bunker Hill Golf Course. Municipal golf course in Dubuque. Established by Louis E. Estabrook, the course was sold to a corporation which kept it private from 1941 to 1950.
On February 5, 1951, the WAHLERT FOUNDATION and a group of Dubuque businessmen who had purchased the course for $125,000 presented the deed to the course to the City of Dubuque. The city was to maintain the eighteen-hold course and make the grounds available for recreation.
The 1968 Dubuque City Directory listed 2200 Bunker Hill Road.
