LYONS, Michael E. (St. Louis, MO, 1861-Dubuque, IA, Dec. 1,1932). MAYOR. Lyons, elected alderman in 1904 and again in 1906, became the city auditor and was re-elected to that position in 1908. At this time he disassociated himself from his liquor business. He had served as head of the Iowa Liquor Dealer's Association.
