BECK BROTHERS. Beck Brothers a company that sold wines and liquor, was established by William BECK and Nick BECK. Nick Beck (Luxemburg, Germany, Oct. 5, 1883-- ) came to America in 1857 and arrived in Dubuque on June 6th of the same year. William Beck (Luxemburg, Germany, Dec. 8, 1835-- ) came to America in 1857 and arrived in Dubuque the same year.
The business was located at the corner of 10th and Jackson STREETS.
The 1884-1885 Dubuque City Directory listed 479 Main as the address.
