JOSEPH J. STEIL HOME. Located at 541 West Third Street, the home was constructed in 1881 as the Ladies' Episcopal Seminary. It was for years the residence of the Steil family. It furnishes an excellent example of ITALIAN VILLA ARCHITECTURE with its L-shaped plan, gabled roof and tower rising from the corner of the "L."
