CANFIELD, William Gurnee. (Wichita, KS--Dubuque, IA). Musician. Canfield, the grandson of William J. CANFIELD, organized and directed the "Bus" Canfield Dance Orchestra in the mid-1930s. He was later a part-owner of the HOTEL CANFIELD and finally the maintenance superintendent at the Dubuque Health Care Center.
