WALKING WAY. Part of old U.S. 52 north which ran south from the John Deere Road.  The name of the road was derived from its proximity to the hiking trails of the Little Maquoketa River Mounds State Park and the fact that it provided access to the farm of Mike and Fran Wilson who raised Tennessee walking horses.
