ALTMAN, Franc Collier. (Dubuque, IA, Aug. 26, 1926--Dubuque, IA, May 9, 1999). Chairman of the board and CEO, [[SPAHN AND ROSE LUMBER COMPANY]]. Altman, son of [[ALTMAN, Franc K.|Franc K. ALTMAN]] and grandson of [[ALTMAN, Franc W.|Franc W. ALTMAN]], served as president of the Spahn and Rose Lumber Company from 1972 through 1987. He was succeeded by [[SPAHN, Charles D.|Charles D. SPAHN]].
