The 1890-91 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed 1605 Clay for these glaziers and painters. The partnership dissolved in June of 1890 with Matt Czizek remaining in the business. (1)  Czizek moved to the business in 1892 to 1643 Clay and added to his stock of wallpaper a complete line of schoolbooks, stationery, and newspapers. (2)
