HICKSON, Thomas C. (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 31, 1971). Hickson joined the Dubuque FIRE DEPARTMENT on May 1, 1921. He was appointed chief on July 1, 1947, and retired January 1, 1965. A past president of the Missouri Valley Fire Chiefs Association, Hickson also served as a member of the board of directors of the DUBUQUE BOYS' CLUB.
