Elizabeth worked as a bookkeeper and business manager many years ago at [[A.Y.MCDONALD MANUFACTURING COMPANY]] and Nabisco Company after attending [[BAYLESS BUSINESS COLLEGE]]. She also applied those skills at [[KRESS CONFECTIONERY]] (1947-1967); at [[MIDLAND CHEMICAL LABORATORIES]] (1967 – 1969); and as business manager at [[STEPHEN HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL]] (1969 – 1985) handling athletic ticket sales (1985-2002).
