"FACING DIVERSITY." In 2018 Suzie Stroud, a CLARKE UNIVERSITY social work student partnered with INCLUSIVE DUBUQUE to organize a storytelling project focusing on pairing members of the LGBTQ+ community in Dubuque with writers. Following interviews with storytellers, the writers wold compose first-person accounts which would be collected a published as a book to be shared throughout Dubuque. Storytellers could choose to remain anonymous. They were able to read and suggest changes to their story prior to publication.

This was the second installment of "Facing Diversity." In 2017 Stroud helped collect stories from the MARSHALLESE community in Dubuque.
