SCHRUP, Anthony F. (Dubuque, IA--Aug. 26, 1974). Postmaster. In 1912 Schrup acquired an automobile dealership which became known as Schrup Motor Company.  He became the twentieth Dubuque postmaster and served from January 1, 1934 until August 31, 1960. This was the longest tenure of any postmaster in Dubuque history.
