KESSLER, Magalen. (Cascade, IA, Jan. 2, 1875--Dubuque, IA, 1936). Kessler was an organizer of the Woman's Catholic Order of Foresters in Dubuque at St. Catherine's in Mosalem Township. He served as "chief ranger" of the organization with St. Agatha Court, Holy Cross church. Politically active, she was a Democratic precinct worker.
