Mueller spent his entire working life in Dubuque in the contracting business after studying architectural engineering at Lane Institute of Chicago.  His gift to the Linwood Cemetery Association was the Mueller Memorial Chapel which was dedicated on October 11, 1987 in memory of Ralph and Alice Mueller and opened for services.

MUELLER, Ralph H. (Dubuque, IA, Apr. 16, 1905--Dec. 21, 1982) The son of Henry and Ella May (Roschi) of Dubuque, Ralph married Mildred Alice Hoelting of Galena.
