Emily was active in the DUBUQUE ART ASSOCIATION, Dubuque Boat Club, DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, Garden Club, P.E.O., Shawondassee Club, Women's Dental Auxiliary, and FIRST CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST.
