HERANCOURT, William V. (Dubuque, IA--Arkansas City, KS, Apr. 27, 1889). The son of Valentine HERANCOURT, William worked in his father's furniture store, but found his interest was drawing and sketching.

He won acclaim for his birdseye view of Minneapolis and etchings of the St. Paul area and later opened a studio in Kansas City.
