He served as its president for twenty-nine years. Glab also served on the board of directors of the DUBUQUE-WISCONSIN BRIDGE and AMERICAN TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK.

In 1949 he was one of the first members of the board of directors of the DUBUQUE REALTY COMPANY. (1)
