KASSLER, Moses. (Lithuania, Feb., 1868--Dubuque, IA, Feb. 12, 1936). Coming to Dubuque in 1884, Kassler entered the dry goods business and eventually became the president of the Kassler Fur Company and a subsidiary, the Kassler Motor Company. He was a founder of the Knesses Israel Synagogue and a charter member of the Jewish Community Center.
