Jaeger was a business partner of [[RHOMBERG, Liberat Alphonse "L.A."|Liberat Alphonse "L.A." RHOMBERG]]  of the firm [[JAEGER & RHOMBERG]]. (1) He was also associated with Rhomberg and [[TRAUT, Paul|Paul TRAUT]] in the firm of [[PAUL TRAUT AND COMPANY]]. In later years he was associated with L. A. Lang under the firm name of [[JAEGER, LANG AND COMPANY]], in the wholesale liquor business.

JAEGER, Adam Francis Jr. (Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany, Feb. 27, 1838--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 1, 1894). MAYOR.

Jaeger was a business partner of Liberat Alphonse "L.A." RHOMBERG of the firm JAEGER & RHOMBERG. (1) He was also associated with Rhomberg and Paul TRAUT in the firm of PAUL TRAUT AND COMPANY. In later years he was associated with L. A. Lang under the firm name of JAEGER, LANG AND COMPANY, in the wholesale liquor business.

Jaeger was elected alderman in 1866 and served until 1874. On September 5,1872, he was appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of then Mayor Solomon TURCK.
