Farley, Michael J. (Dubuque, IA--Chicago, IL, Nov. 1923). Newspaper owner. Schooled in the printer's trade, Farley became the owner of the ''Dyersville Commercial''.  In 1885, he sold his interest in the paper to Christian A. Smith and moved to Chicago where he was involved in a large printing company.
