EISENHOWER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Dedicated November 24, 1968. Designed like HOOVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, Eisenhower was located farther north along J. F. Kennedy Road and west among homes in Arbor Oaks Subdivision, one of the newest housing developments in Dubuque.
Eisenhower took on a unique role in the DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT when HELEN KELLER SCHOOL was built on the same grounds. Keller and Eisenhower were combined in 1990 using the name Eisenhower School.
