COOKIN SOMETHING UP. Started by Doris Gorius, the store's concept was to teach kitchen tips, provide customers with necessary equipment, and allow them to try it out.
Gorius' daughter, Stephanie, after culinary and French pastry school in Chicago, returned to Dubuque to become the executive chef. In this capacity, she researched recipes and developed cooking classes. Customers could also create their own class with a group of ten or more.
In 2012 the business was located at 1640 John F. Kennedy Road.
